Lodging in Shanghai - Day 1 - Cold & Rainy

We stayed at the newly opened 5-Star GuangDong Hotel in Shanghai. It opened at the end of 2004. In the above picture, the hotel got all decorated up for Chinese New Year!

Although the hotel was not in a convenient location, I still LOVED the little QuikMart next to it! They probably thought I was weird when I began reading outloud all the English on their products.

My Bathroom!!! *Angels Sing*

My nice high-thread count bed! It came with down comforter & pillow!
They even had a choice of down or buckwheat pillow too!

Of course, NOTHING can beat the FREE High-Speed Internet!

Day 2 - Weather Report (Cold & Rainy w/ a bit of hail)

Chow down on our $1 breakfast feast!!!

Another night shot of the hotel, after another trip to QuikMart!

Yup, Snow! Take a look at the sign on the left! =P (NO Trumpet!)

My breakfast! Rip-off! $8!!!

More Shopping!

Lunch at a famous Shanghai restaurant. It was too expensive for them to tell me the price.

Visited William's old home. This was their ONE and only room! The bathroom was joint with their neighbors and too dirty to photograph.

Day 4 - Weather Report (Cold Wind & Sun)

Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower

We battled what seemed like 1 billion people to get up here.

Shopping inside the Oriental Pearl Tower made me feel better :)

We ate a dinner buffet inside the spinning Oriental Pearl Tower. Many escargo had to be sacrificed due to the buffet cause.

Inside the buffet room.

Day 5 - Weather Report (Sunny & Warming Up! Above 0° C!)
